MISHAWAKA – Bethel College head men’s basketball coach Mike Lightfoot and his staff are proud to announce the addition of Brady Bechtel from Goshen High School to the Pilots’ program.

Bechtel was voted all Northern Lakes Conference honorable mention as a sophomore and would improve to first team all NLC his junior year. Bechtel has participated in the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Underclassmen showcase all three years, and was also named to the Bethel College McDonald’s All-Star game in 2014.
“I chose Bethel because of the people, coaches, and unique family environment,” said Bechtel. “I felt wanted and pursued by the coaching staff. I knew that Bethel was the place for me.”
Bechtel’s father Brian, who is his high school coach at Goshen, was a star guard for the Pilots. The elder Bechtel, who starred at Fairfield High School, was a two-time team MVP and captain at Bethel.
