Warsaw Frosh Football Falls To Warriors
WARSAW – The Warsaw freshman football team fell behind early on Thursday night in dropping a 36-14 final to Wawasee.
The Warriors took advantage of early Tiger turnovers to lead 20-0 after the opening quarter. Wawasee led 30-14 at halftime.
Josh West tossed touchdown passes of 25 and 12 yards to Eli Owen for the Warsaw scores.
Bryce Garner had 15 rushes for 75 yards for the Tigers. Trevor Andrews, Bryce LeDrew and John Culbertson led the defense for Warsaw.
Warsaw falls to 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
The frosh Tigers will host NorthWood on Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
