Freeze Warning In Effect For Tonight
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a freeze warning, in effect from 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, to 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.
This affects Kosciusko and surrounding counties, including but not limited to Elkhart, Marshall, Fulton, Whitley, Allen, Miami, Wabash and Noble.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s tonight and into early Sunday morning. Vegetation sensitive to freezing or sub-freezing temperatures may be damaged or killed if not protected.
