Man Threatens To Stab Another Over CD
WARSAW — A man was arrested Monday after he threatened to stab another individual earlier in the day. The threat was over a CD.
Johnathan Michael Pappas, 22, 519 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw, has been arrested on intimidation charges, a level 6 felony.
Court documents, filed Wednesday, Oct. 21, state police were called to a residence in Warsaw where the male homeowner stated two individuals came to his home. One of the individuals, later identified as Pappas, wanted a CD returned. The homeowner told Pappas he did not have a CD at the residence and asked him to leave. Pappas then allegedly threatened to stab the man with a knife.
Pappas and the other individual, Brian Nine, were identified by the daughter of the homeowner. She told police she saw them speaking with her father at the door.
Police spoke with Pappas who stated, he went to the residence to speak with the daughter, but the father told them to leave. But he did not want to leave. Pappas admitted he removed a knife from his pocket and told the homeowner he had a knife, but never unfolded the knife.
He was held on $5,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
