Mamma Mia! Italian Cuisine Coming To Warsaw
WARSAW — Last month rumors that a popular Warsaw restaurant, Bennigan’s, would soon close began circulating throughout the community. The restaurant, which has been a community favorite for Irish pub fare and karaoke for the past 15 years, will soon close its doors.
According to Bennigan’s owner Bruce Shaffner, though Bennigan’s will soon close its doors, a new business will shortly open after. Though Shaffner noted he isn’t prepared to name the new establishment, he could confirm that the cuisine served will be Italian.
Though the interior changes at the location are beginning, with the bar expected to close soon for major renovations, Shaffner noted the menu and business as a whole is expected to remain open to the public. The Bennigan’s menu and hours will remain much the same for the time being with only temporary closures of a day or two expected to occur.
Shaffner notes though he hopes to see the new location open for the public around Jan. 1, 2016, the opening will obviously depend largely on the construction timeline.
