TVMS Honors Fall Athletes
AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley Middle School honored its fall sports award winners Wednesday.
The school saluted Johnny Gonzalez (Mr. Viking), Ian Becker (Mental Attitude) and Michael Sexton (Most Improved) from the 7th grade football team. Honored from the 8th grade football team were Jalen Potter (Mr. Viking), Jace Potter (Mental Attitude) and Jacob Eherenman (Most Improved).
Zach Landis and Logan Hummitch were honored as Most Improved for the boys cross country team.
Taylor Gunter earned Most Valuable honors for the girls cross country team. Maria Henderson was Most Improved and Alyssa Bell as the Mental Attitude Award winner.
The 6th grade A volleyball team saluted Brianna Sheetz (Best Server), Sydney Peterson (Most Improved) and Brayden Baney (Captain). The 6th grade B team gave out awards to Chloe Shepherd (Best Server) and Sarah Kelley (Most Improved).
Belamie Carlin was the Most Valuable for the 7th grade A volleyball team. Hannah Engstrand was Most Improved and Kayleena Agnew the Mental Attitude Award winner. Alexis Evans was the Mental Attitude recipient for the 7th grade B team and Ashley Butler earned Most Improved honors.
For the 8th grade A team, Caleigh Byrer (Most Versatile), Makenzie Woodcox (Most Improved) and Emily Murphy (Mental Attitude) earned honors. The 8th grade B team honored Amber Evans (Most Improved) and Alexis Michael (Mental Atittude).
