A Christmas Story, The Musical Begins Saturday
FORT WAYNE — Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder Air Rifle. A Christmas Story, The Musical is the hilarious account of Ralphie’s quest to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa himself that this is the perfect gift. Shows begin at 8 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 7.
This new Broadway musical based on the classic 1983 movie, features funny and heartfelt songs and captures a nostalgic holiday spirit of days gone by. You’ll see all the treasured moments from the motion picture including the school bully; the tongue on the flagpost; the temperamental furnace and more.
Showings for A Christmas Story, The Musical will be held at The Civic Theatre, at 303 E. Main St., Fort Wayne.
