John Eugene Paul
John Eugene Paul, 73, Fort Wayne, died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born in Huntington, to John A. and Mabel (Weimer) Paul, both deceased. He married Carolyn Ray on March 3, 1962, and she survives. He was a retired minister and a Vietnam veteran. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1960 then attended Manchester College and Fort Wayne Bible College. He dedicated his life to the ministry of the Lord Jesus as a children’s evangelist, a church administrator, a mentor, and a pastor.
He is survived by his wife; sons: Brook (Jill) Paul, Powell, Ohio; and Derek (Lilly) Paul, Tulsa, Okla.; daughters: Rhoda (Tim) Ragle, Fort Wayne; sister: Nelma M. (Larry) Stoner, Cromwell; grandchildren: Jacob Needham; Elizabeth (Kyle) Belcher; Wesley (Brigette) Needham; Phaedra Paul; Beckham Paul; and Benjamin Paul; and great-granddaughter: Annajane Belcher. Preceding him in death are his parents and one son: John Paul Jr.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, and will be officiated by Pastor Herb Flint. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
