Wonderful Water Student Art Contest In April
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Center for Lakes and Streams is calling all fourth through twelfth graders for the “Wonderful Water Student Art Contest.” Help raise awareness of and appreciation for Kosciusko County’s waters through artistic expression. This year’s contest theme is “Lake and Stream Habitats.” Entries should include a lake or stream and show students’ understanding of the theme. The deadline for submission is Friday, April 15.
Artwork will be judged by the Grace College art department and evaluated based on creativity, artistic merit and depiction of the theme.
Students from all Kosciusko County school districts are eligible to participate. Entry forms must be attached to the upper right corner on the back of the entry. Artwork is returned to students after the judging process, unless the artwork is a winning selection. Winning selections will be returned following display around the community.
Submit entries to the Center for Lakes and Streams, 200 Seminary Dr., Winona Lake, along with entry form, which can be found here. For more information, visit lakes.grace.edu, or call (574) 372-5100, ext. 6453.
