Cincinnati Man Stands By Controversial ‘Zombie Nativity’
CINCINNATI — A Cincinnati man is getting in trouble over his nativity scene.
Jasen Dixon runs a haunted house and to drum up business, he created a ghoulish Nativity scene featuring zombies.
As you may imagine, several people have found the display offensive. The city says Dixon’s permit for the display was rejected because code doesn’t allow for structures in front yards.
But Dixon isn’t buying it.
“I think it’s the theme. It just rubs people the wrong way and it puts the spotlight on me. That’s why they’re coming down so hard on me,” Dixon said.
While Dixon could be facing fines of up to $500 a day, he says he thinks the zombies should be allowed to stay.
