SYRACUSE — Due to an unseasonably warm fall, the Wawasee Kiwanis Club has opted to move its 2016 Snowmobile Drag Races from Jan. 30 to the alternate date Feb. 13.

This move will also affect the Syracuse Winter Carnival, which will also be moving to Feb. 13. Tammy Cotton, executive director of the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, stated in an email the chamber is working to move previously scheduled activities to the new date. The ice carvers have already been secured for the new date.
