Escaped Inmate From Wisconsin May Be In South Bend
SOUTH BEND — An inmate who escaped from a Wisconsin prison at the end of November could be in South Bend, according to Michiana Crime Stoppers.
Phillip Burton Jr, 23, escaped from the Sanger B. Powers Correctional Center in Oneida, Wis. Nov. 29.
He was convicted in 2012 of robbery with threat of force and theft of movable property from a person.
Michiana Crime Stoppers posted on their Facebook page Wednesday that Burton could be in the South Bend area.
