Filing Underway For Local, State, Federal Offices
KOSCIUSKO — Candidate filing began Wednesday, Jan. 6, and a handful of candidates have already thrown their names into the ring for the May 3 Primary. All filings so far have been by Republicans.
Candidate filings, as of Friday afternoon, Jan. 8, are:
Clerk of Circuit Court — Ann M. Torpy, incumbent
Council At-Large — Sue Ann Mitchell; Robert G. (Bob) Sanders, incumbent; and Tressa Nichols.
Commissioner Middle District — Ronald D. Truex, incumbent
Commissioner Northern District — Brad Jackson, incumbent
Surveyor — Michael Kissinger, incumbent
Treasurer — Rhonda J. Helser
State Senator District 12 — Blake Doriot, Joanna King
State Senator District 18 — Randall Head
U.S. Representative District 3 — Jim Banks, Pam Galloway.
Those individuals who have filed for Precinct Committeemen include: Sue Ann Mitchell, Tippecanoe 3; Lynn S. Howie, Wayne 1; Mike Ragan, Wayne 5; Craig Nayrocker, Warsaw Ward 1 Precinct 2
Those filing for state convention delegate district 1 include: Carlye E. Baenen, Lynn S. Howie, Terry A. Howie, Sue A. Mitchell, Tressa Nichols and Robert G. (Bob) Sanders
Filing for state convention delegate district 2 include: Carl Brett Heinisch
