City Centennial Retrospect at Nappanee Center
As Indiana celebrates its statehood Bicentennial in 2016, the Nappanee Center will look back to the city’s 100th birthday party over 40 years ago in a new exhibit. You may spot a familiar face or two in the photos and memorabilia from the 1874-inspired celebration that took place in the summer of 1974. The retrospect runs Monday, Feb. 1, through Saturday, April 30.
The Heritage Collection is maintained by the library and is housed within the Nappanee Center at 302 W. Market St. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. For more information call the library or check online.
