Indiana Sheriff’s Association Offering Scholarships
INDIANA — The Indiana Sheriff’s Association will once again award college scholarships to qualified high school seniors or college students who are pursuing a degree in criminal justice studies. This year, approximately 40- $500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students throughout the state.
To qualify for an Indiana Sheriff’s Association scholarship, applicants must be an Indiana resident, attend an Indiana college or university with full-time enrollment (12 hours), major in a law enforcement field and be a current member or the dependent child or grandchild of a current member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.
Scholarship applications can be downloaded from the Indiana Sheriff’s Association website and are available from high school counselors, the local sheriff’s office or by writing to the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, 147 E. Maryland St., Indianapolis, IN 46204 and requesting an application.
Applications must be completed and received by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association on or before April 1.
