This Magic Moment At The Indiana Grand
SHELBYVILLE — Indiana Grand Racing and Casino will welcome Jay and the Americans for a free concert next month at their Center Bar stage. Jay and the Americans will perform two shows 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.
Considered by many as the original “oldies” act, Jay and the Americans charted an unprecedented 12 top-10 records throughout the 1960s. The group’s first record was “Tonight” (from the Broadway Musical West Side Story), and their breakout hit song “She Cried,” was followed by “Only in America” and “Come A Little Bit Closer.”
The Jay and the Americans performance is part of a series of free concerts at Indiana Grand. The list of additional free concert dates is as follows (two times indicates two shows):
