Pilots Outscore Huntington For OT Win
HUNTINGTON – The Bethel College men’s basketball team outscored host Huntington Tuesday night in Crossroads League action.
The No. 11 Pilots place six players in double figures to post a 103-100 victory in overtime in the conference contest.
Sophomore Gage Ott scored a team-high 23 points to pace the Pilots.
Junior Jordyn Coon, a Warsaw product, continued his outstanding play of late with 19 points and four rebounds for Bethel in the win.
Junior Caleb Oetjen netted 17 points, while senior Travis Smith scored 15 and freshman Luke Fisher 12 for the Pilots.
Bethel junior guard Clay Yeo, who starred at Triton High School, had 11 points and eight rebounds before fouling out late in regulation play.
Bethel improves to 21-6 overall and moves to 10-5 in the conference. Huntington falls to 13-14 overall and 7-8 in league play.
Bethel will host Goshen College Saturday at 3 p.m. in another Crossroads League game.
