Norma Jean Robinson
Norma Jean Robinson, 83, Warsaw, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, in her residence.
On May 1, 1932, she was born in Warsaw, to George and Daisy Slater. She was united in marriage to Loyd Robinson on March 8, 1986, in Warsaw. He preceded her in death.
Jean lived most of her life in Warsaw, also living in Florida for a time. She was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, watching t.v., cooking and cleaning. She also enjoyed listening to music and going out and socializing. Jean attended God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw and then Grover Oak Life Church, Winona Lake.
She is survived by her stepchildren; step-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Jean is also preceded in death by her parents; her sister: Joan Kilmer; and four brothers: Cecil; Paul; Lee; and Sam Slater.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Doug Lemon officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. A visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
