BASEBALL TEAM TOPS PLYMOUTH
Forde Ness pitched Warsaw past Plymouth for a 3-1 Northern Lakes Conference prep baseball win Monday night at WCHS.
Austin Moore homered and Brock Anson doubled for the Tigers, who improved to 9-9 overall and 4-5 in conference play.
The Tiger JV team topped Plymouth 8-1. Tanner Balazs was the winning pitcher for Warsaw. Balazs and Caleb Heckaman each had a double for the Tigers (13-4, 8-2).
TENNIS SQUAD EDGES GOSHEN
Sarah Hartle capped conference regular season play unbeaten as the Tigers edged Goshen 3-2 in league play Monday.
Hartle, the lone senior for Warsaw, celebrated Senior Night with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Warsaw finishes 6-1 in league play.
The Tigers also won both doubles matches as Lindsay Sciarra and Olivia Wallin won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 and Rachel Alexander and Mallory Bartel won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2.
Warsaw will compete in the NLC Tournament Wednesday through Friday at Concord.
