WARSAW — While Bennigan’s fans will miss their favorite Irish-themed cuisine, diners in the community will have something new to sink their teeth into.

Though a precise date has not been set, Bella Vitale Italian Eatery is expected to open later this week.

“The cuisine will be Italian, serving everything from pastas, pizza, soups, salads, appetizers and then main entrees,” former Bennigan’s owner Bruce Shaffner, co-owner of the Recovery Lounge, said.

The menu is not the only thing that has changed. The building has also undergone a makeover, which customers can see once it has opened.

“It was time to make a restaurant change,” Shaffner said. “We’ve listened to the community and the community has been asking for a good Italian restaurant for some time.”

At this time, there is no official date for the opening, though customers can get a preview at Wyndham Gardens, where owner Peggy Roulo, owner of Bella Vitale, will feature some of her cuisine in the Recovery Lounge. Meanwhile, customers can learn more via Bella Vitale’s Facebook page.
