Upcoming Easter Egg Hunts
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — In order to get ready for the season, InkFreeNews has compiled a list of Easter egg hunts planned around Kosciusko County. We will be updating this list as announcements come to our attention. To have an event added contact Marc Eshleman at [email protected]
Clunette
- Wednesday, March 23 — United Methodist Church’s Easter egg hunt will be at 6:30 p.m. Kids of all ages are invited. Dress weather appropriate and bring the proper supplies, as the egg hunt will be outdoors unless it rains. The Easter egg hunt will be on church campus at four miles west of SR 15 on CR 600N.
Mentone
- Saturday, March 26 — Mentone’s Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m in Mentzer Park.
Milford
- Saturday, March 26 — Milford Kiwanis club has announced that its annual Easter egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Milford School. There will be two age groups for the hunt, one for preschool children and the other for students in Kindergarten through second-grade. The Easter bunny will be there, too, so be sure to bring a camera.
North Webster
- Saturday, March 26 — The North Webster Lions Club Easter Egg hunt begins at 9 a.m. sharp at the North Webster ball fields. Kiwanis is providing a continental breakfast from 8-11 a.m. and there will be photos with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, balloon animals, coloring and craft activities in the NWCC gym from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Event is free to the public, but donations welcome.
Pierceton
- Saturday, March 26 — The Pierceton American Legion Easter Egg Hunt is at 1 p.m. in the Pierceton ball park. The hunt is for children aged 2 through 12. There will be three age categories: 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12-year-olds, with three cash prizes in each category. At the end of the hunt each participant will get a chocolate bunny.
Silver Lake
- Saturday, March 26 — South Pleasant United Methodist Church will have its Easter egg hunt at 10-11 a.m. on church campus.
Syracuse
- March 21-28 — Eggsploration Geo Hung. Participants of all ages are welcome to explore Syracuse in a geocache style egg hunt. Ten geocache eggs will be hidden in various locations around Syracuse. Participants will be given passports with instructions and GPS coordinates of the first egg. Each egg will have coordinates to the next location. Completed passports turned into the Syracuse Community Center by 8 p.m. Monday, March 28 will be entered in a prize drawing. The event is fee and pre-registration is not required. Warsaw
- Saturday, March 26 — Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds is having a free Easter egg hunt for the community. The gates to the fairgrounds open at 11 a.m. and the Easter egg hunt will begin at 1 p.m. with the 1-2 year olds on the midway. Followed by the 3-5 year olds on the basketball court at 1:10 p.m. The 6-9 year olds will start its hunt at 1:20 p.m. in the track area. Lastly, the 10-12 year old will start at 1:30 in the cabin area. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around, so parents should bring their cameras.
- Saturday, March 26 — The Church of God will be having its Easter egg hunt on church campus, at 1059 Rozella Road.
- Saturday, March 26 — The Winona Lake Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Winona Lake Park at 2 p.m. with the Special Friends hunt, for children, youth, and young at heart with special needs. The primary hunt begins at 3 p.m with ages 0-2, then followed by those aged 3-5, and then 6-10 year-olds.
- Sunday, March 27 — Trinity United Methodist Church will be having its Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on church campus at 832 E. Center St.
- Sunday, March 27 — The Redeemer Church will be having its Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on church campus at 1720 E. Center St., along with a breakfast.
Winona Lake
- Saturday, March 26 — The Winona Lake Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Winona Lake Park at 2 p.m. with the Special Friends hunt, for children, youth, and young at heart with special needs. The primary hunt begins at 3 p.m with ages 0-2, then followed by those aged 3-5, and then 6-10 year-olds.
