Louise Cook
Heaven has welcomed a very special angel! Surrounded by family and Pastor Yoder, Louise Cook, Warsaw, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 95.
Louise was a resident of Kosciusko County, since 1946 where she was a homemaker and a member of Warsaw Church of God. She was also a dedicated, loyal employee of Hazel Murphy at Murphy Medical Center.
She was the loving inspiration that always brought the family together…always encouraging each one to do their best. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
Louise was born on May 10, 1920, in Newnan, Ga. to Edward Patterson and Fannie Kate (Smith) Patterson. She received her elementary and high school education in the public schools of Newnan, Ga. She accepted Christ at an early age in Newnan. On Oct. 21, 1942, in Newnan, Georgia, she was united in holy matrimony to her committed spouse, Clarence Cook, who survives in Warsaw.
Those left to cherish the many beautiful memories are her two sons: Jack (Marsha) Cook, Warsaw; Bill (Doris) Cook, Warsaw; daughter: Mary (Carl) Evans, South Bend; seven grandchildren: Matthew (Janet) Cook, Irvine, Calif.; Leticia (Byron) Burns, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Brian (Karin) Cook, Indianapolis; Erin (Travis) Saunders, London, Ohio; Isaac (JaKayla) Evans, South Bend; Philip (Camille) Evans, ; Joy (Edward) Green, Indianapolis; and nine great-grandchildren: Jonathan Burns; Brenden Cook; Alyssa Burns; Malachai Evans; Sydney Cook; Jada Burns; Caleb Evans; Daniel Evans; and Ethan Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Warsaw Church of God, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Tim Kumfer and Pastor Jerry Yoder. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. There will also be visitation time an hour prior to the service on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
Memorial donations may be designated to the Warsaw Church of God Youth; c/o Warsaw Church of God, Warsaw, and would be appreciated by the family.
