Disappointed In Jackie
Dear editor,
I have a great love of children, born and pre-born. I have three sweet little boys who keep me on my toes and a precious daughter who now resides with Jesus. Jackie Walorski also claims to love children. In 2015, after watching the Planned Parenthood videos, Jackie said Planned Parenthood was disgusting and should not be funded with tax dollars. Then, six months later she gave them $540 million. I wouldn’t call funding a business whose money comes from the slaughtering of unborn children, “loving them.”
Jeff Petermann is Jackie’s Republican opponent. He is a “no-exception,” pro-life candidate. He wants to propose a national Heartbeat bill, which would stop abortions once there is a heartbeat. We are declared dead once our hearts stop beating. Why should’t we be declared alive once they begin?
Jackie cosponsored a bill in 2015 which would have stopped abortions once a baby feels pain, in about week 20. Then she pulled her name off the bill and killed the purpose of the bill. Sadly, Jackie has proven what is most important to her and clearly that isn’t protecting the lives of our most vulnerable.
In January of 2015, the president of the National Right to Life said Jackie Walorski “(betrayed) the lives of vulnerable unborn babies” and she needed to hear from pro-life voters loudly and clearly at the polls. That’s why I’m voting for Jeff Petermann for Congress.
Our community has always cherished it’s Christian heritage and morals. We are all created in the image of God and should be loved, valued and protected as such, born and pre-born.
I hope everyone will consider standing with Jeff in his fight to protect those who can not speak or stand for themselves.
Psalm 139:13: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Jereimiah 1:5a: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
