LEESBURG — Leesburg/Plain Township Fire Department, Milford Fire Department and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory are at the scene of a large field fire on CR 800N, between SR 15 and CR 200W.

The fire appears to have started near the residence of Jesse Miller, 1176 W. CR 800N, in a field owned by DP & P Investments LLC. The fire has quickly spread in a northwesterly direction into adjoining fields, owned by Sharon A Mohler, Pamela Shipley and Bonnie Mohler; and toward a wooded area.

Grass trucks, engines and tankers are at the scene.
