Exotic Kittens Raising Questions In Gaston
MUNCIE — A pair of exotic kittens found in a Delaware County barn are getting a lot of attention — and a lot of questions.
A Gaston woman found the young felines in her barn and turned them over to the Animal Rescue Fund in Muncie last weekend. A veterinarian determined the unusual-looking kittens were exotic animals, so they were taken to the Exotic Feline Rescue in Center Point for further treatment and investigation.
Sadly, one of the kittens died at the rescue.
Muncie ARF expects there are more kittens in the litter and is asking anyone in the Gaston area who finds them to take them to their facility to be transferred to the Exotic Feline Rescue.
Workers at the feline rescue are trying to determine the breed of the kittens.
The surviving kitten is being fed via bottle and is being kept in an incubator.
