A British Invasion At Wawasee High School
SYRACUSE — A tribute to British rock groups and soloists will be given in the spring Pops Show of the Wawasee High School Choral Department. “2016, British Invasion” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 13-14, in the high school auditorium.
Singing, dancing, wild costumes, lighting and special effects, comedy and laughter will blend together to form the show. Music included will pay tribute to The Beatles, David Bowie, U2, Queen, Sting, Phil Collins, Elton John and others.
Choreographers for the show are Damon Brown, Ethan Wright, Allyson Weaver and Alex Fiscus. Costumes and sets are designed and made by Deb Sweazy and the emcees are Lauren Bogart, Xavier Ortiz, Bailey Schroeder, Allyson Weaver and Ethan Wright. Connie Meadows is director of the choirs.
Seating is reserved and tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students of all grades and $4 for preschoolers. Tickets may be purchased from any choir student or by calling the high school at (574) 457-3147.
