KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Whitko Community School Corporation has named the students of the month of May.
Lindsay Moseley is the Student of the month at Whitko High School. Moseley is truly the embodiment of what Whitko High School is all about. She is a hard-working and dedicated student who cares about others, and about the school. She is purpose-driven, motivated to succeed, and a leader among her peers. Her sweet, caring, and authentic personality make her a complete joy to be around. You can’t help but be drawn to her kindness and her charismatic smile. Moseley is a genuine credit to our school.
Lindsay was nominated by teachers, Reba Gregory and Don Zawlocki.
Scott Cripe is the student of the month at Whitko Middle School. Cripe is a very well rounded, strong academic student and member of the Jr. Technology Team. He was nominated by the seventh-grade staff.
Desire Spriggs has become a leader in our fourth-grade class. She goes above and beyond classroom expectations on assignments and projects. She is a tech team member and my right-hand-girl for all technical issues in the classroom. Spriggs has been a part of the flex time newspaper group and is participating in drama. She has been an outstanding student this year. She was nominated by teacher, Lisa Gawthrop.
Xavier Beckley – Pierceton Elementary School
Xavier Beckley follows the C.U.B.S. guidelines at all times. He is caring, respectful, and polite to teachers, peers, school staff, and myself. His willingness to help out and participate even when he doesn’t like the music or the art project never goes unnoticed. Xavier always has a smile on his face even on a bad day. Beckley is a student who I can count on to do his personal best. He was nominated by Art and Music Teacher, Carissa Jackson.
