New Online Resource: Profiles of Indiana
Our library now has free online access to the Profiles of Indiana. With the purchase of the Profiles of Indiana book, the library also received an online access for patrons to use. The icon is on the library’s “About Us” web page in the top right corner. The site offers access to statistics about all the cities and towns in the state of Indiana. Demographics available include income, education, residential real estate value, employment and earnings of each town or city in Indiana. Be sure to check out Profiles of Indiana the next time you visit our website at www.milford.lib.in.us. Learn about the town you live in!

Teens will want to check out new titles like “Scarlett Epstein Hates it Here” by Anna Breslaw, “Mr. Fahrenheit” by T. Michael Martin, “Can You Keep a Secret” by R. L. Stine and “Darkest Corners” by Kara Thomas.
Adult patrons will want to browse the new adult fiction section. “Till Death Do Us Part” by Amanda Quick, “The Apartment” by Danielle Steel, “The Last Mile” by David Baldacci, “15th Affair” by James Patterson, “Hide Away” by Iris Johansen, and “As Time Goes By” written by Mary Higgins Clark are all recent additions.
Children will be delighted with the addition of books to their collection. Getting children to read can be challenging, so why not check out “Skunk on a String” by Thao Lam, “Chimpanzees for Tea!” by Jo Empson, “Rain Fish” by Lois Ehlert, and “Mr. Squirrel and the Moon” by Sebastian Meschenmoser.
Look for new DVDs “Bob The Builder: Construction Heroes!,” “Izzie’s Way Home,” and “Scooby Doo and LEGO: Haunted Holllywood.” Music CDs “Up” by Disney Songs & Story, “Finding Nemo” by Disney Songs and Story, and “Toy Story” by Disney Songs and Story will be hitting the children’s shelves as well. Come in and check out the new books and the new magazines each month.
Milford Fest
Be sure to look for the library’s booth during Milford Fest. This year we have a basketball arcade game to play. For a one dollar donation, you get three tries to make a basket and win a prize. All of the donations are used to support the summer reading program. We have lots of great programs planned for children of all ages all summer long. Make visits to the library part of your summer plans.
