‘Party In The Alley’ Downtown Saturday
ELKHART — Pillars of Elkhart are partnering with Stephenson’s and Iechyd Da Brewing Company for a “Party in the Alley” Downtown this Saturday, May 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event this Saturday will give the public a look at the alley project located between 215 & 217 S. Main Street in Downtown Elkhart between Stephenson’s and Bowdoin Marketing/Mini Delights Bake Shoppe.
Pillars of Elkhart will introduce the alley with a fashion show to raise funds to help finish up the alley.
Guests will be able to see the latest Stephenson’s Spring & Summer fashions modeled by Pillars and friends starting at 7 p.m. Iechyd Da Brewing Company will be there with the Dragon Wagon serving up delicious local brews. All ages welcome to join for this event. Beer Garden is for 21 years and older guests only.
Optional donations are appreciated. Funds raised from this event help with the Alleyway Project beautification. Those attending will be entered to win a Stephenson’s gift certificate. Those who donate to the cause will be entered into the drawing for a second chance to win.
The Alleyway Activation Project was spearheaded by Adam Fann, Pillars of Elkhart member and City of Elkhart TIF Infrastructure Project Supervisor. Roughly $7,000 and 200 volunteer hours has been put into renovating and beautifying the alley thus far. The Alley has been made possible by contributions from The Elkhart County Board of Realtors, Community Foundation of Elkhart County, Iechyd Da Brewing Company, Dan and Jami Brouillette, Bowdoin Marketing, Seifert Drug/Hass Hakim, Dawn and Peter Recchio, Matt’s Electric, Chase Bank, The City of Elkhart and Pillars of Elkhart.
The alley currently features unique art pieces by artists Patrick Wilkins, Christian Michael Smith and Alexandra Allen.
