Walorski Greets Honor Flight Veterans At World War II Memorial
WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski today greeted Hoosier veterans of World War II and the Korean War who are visiting Washington, D.C., with Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.
“Hoosiers are the first the answer their nation’s call to serve, and these Hoosiers not only answered the call, they saved the world for democracy,” said Congresswoman Walorski, a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee. “It is a privilege to thank these heroes for their service and join them at their memorial to remember those who never made it home.”
