Bourbon Woman Involved In Car/Pedestrian Crash
GOSHEN — A 3-year-old child was struck by a car driven by Brenda Miller, 36, Bourbon, in an collision at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s Officers report Miller was traveling southwest on SR 119, west of CR 13, in a 2008 Ford Expedition, when 3-year-old Colette Stump, ran out into the roadway. Stump ran directly into the path of her vehicle from the northwest side of the road. Miller’s vehicle struck the child just before coming to a complete stop.
Stump was transported to IU Health Goshen with abrasions to her face.
