Jami E. Duell,
Jami E. Duell, 35, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016, at her home.
Jami was born in Plymouth Nov. 5, 1980, the daughter of Theodore “Ted” J. Duell and Shellie A. (Maxwell) Duell. She was raised in Plymouth graduated from PHS with the Class of 2000 and then attended I.T.T. Technical Institute in South Bend with studies in Criminal Justice.
Jami spent much of her time helping people and making them happy. She had worked in the Dietary Department of several nursing homes and currently was an employee of A.M.I. in Plymouth.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, collecting New York, sea otter and turtle memorabilia and could be drawn into a family game session.
Her presence will be missed by her saddened family. Her mother Shellie Duell, Plymouth; father Ted and Bonnie Duell, Klamath Falls, Ore.; siblings and their children: Joslyn L. and John Eisemann, Plymouth and children: Rylee and Reed, Jessica R; Truex and Chad Bacewic, Plymouth and children: James, David, Arianna, Tucker and Lucas; Janna M. and Kenan Steele, Bremen and child; Trystan; Jonathon S. Harman-Nine of Plymouth and Macie J. McMichael of Plymouth.
Jami’s maternal grandmother Ann R. Harman resides in Plymouth as well as aunt and uncle Sherrie and Rich McMichael of Plymouth whom she also considered as parents. Several aunts, uncles and cousins survive as well.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Herbert E. Harman; her paternal grandparents Lawrence and Marion Duell and infant cousin Shannon Marie Crawford.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, July 2 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Services will begin at noon in the funeral home. Dr. Nate Crawford will officiate.
Preferred are memorial gifts to the family.
