TLC Management and Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center Holds Summer Olympics
WARSAW — Senior citizens across the state of Indiana will show that age is only a number as they compete in TLC Management’s Summer Rehab Olympics Events. TLC’s skilled nursing communities, located throughout the state, have mobilized their staff and implemented plans to challenge other TLC communities to this fun event.
Each of TLC’s 16 facilities in Indiana will encourage its rehab residents – both past and present – to compete. These senior athletes will train locally and then gather to compete for medals at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind., on July 21. Along with the athletic competition, participants will take part in parade ceremonies, a special guest, fun and the experience of doing something they didn’t think they would ever be able to do again.
The excitement is growing from a variety of different avenues – residents are telling family members, family members are telling friends and doctors, hospitals and medical providers are fully supportive and asking how they can get involved.
The staff and residents of Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center want to welcome you to be a part of this special celebration. Each of them has a story to tell about how he or she overcame health struggles to become a senior athlete.
The Mayor of Warsaw will be present at the Mason Trial’s this at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6.
