Amie Ruth Woodward
Amie Ruth Woodward, 30, Claypool, passed at 4:08 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born Jan. 12, 1986 in Wabash, to James and Angela (Kerr) Woodward.
Amie graduated from Northfield High School in 2004 and from Tucker Vocational School in 2007 as an LPN. She loved her job at Maple Leaf Farms where she was a supervisor in the York Room. Amie enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Madalyn, watching movies and SVU, boating, and their favorite pastime was getting ice cream together. She was a mentor at the Rose Home North in Syracuse.
She is survived by her daughter: Madalyn Woodward; father: James (Debbie) Woodward; and her mother: Angela (Ed Sroufe) Woodward, all of Claypool; her two brothers: Eric Woodward of Wabash; and Curt Woodward of Albion; three stepsisters: Holly (Scott) Heller of Akron; Katie (Mike) Conrad of Syracuse Lake; and Abby Sroufe of Chapman Lake; her stepbrother: Steven (Michelle) Williamson of Fort Wayne; and her grandparents: Ned and Shirley Woodward of Wabash; and Rex and Judy Kerr of Roann.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Erin Woodward.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, 335 S. Chippewa Road, Roann, with Pastor Butch Troke officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville. Friends may call 10 – 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Madelyn Woodward Education Fund in care of the Wells Fargo Bank.
