Gregory S. ‘Greg’ Wiggs
Gregory S. “Greg” Wiggs, 65, North Webster, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at his home. He was born on Aug. 30, 1950, in Frankton, to Billy J. and Mary B. “Berniece” Wiggs.
He graduated from Frankton High School and attended Indiana University, Bloomington, and Fresno College, Fresno, Calif. He grew up in Frankton and moved to the North Webster area after summering there for many years in 1986 from California. He was a farmer and self-employed general contractor for many years and formerly worked at Venture Vans, Syracuse.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and volunteer for the Peace Corp.
He is survived by three sons: Mark Wiggs; Chris Wiggs; and Joe Wiggs, all of North Webster; three grandchildren; his mother: Berniece Wiggs, North Webster; two sisters: Becky (Phil) Baker, Rylander, Vt.; and Bobi (Pat) Wiggs, Spokane, Wash. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother: Mark Wiggs.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko Coutny, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the American Legion Post 253, North Webster. Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
