Richard L. Hoff-UPDATED
Richard L. Hoff, 78, Kewanna, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at his residence.
Born on Nov. 18, 1937, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Richard D. and Betty Jane (Hammond) Hoff. He was married on Aug. 4, 1956 to Marilyn J. Mannies, she survives.
He was a 1956 Grass Creek High School graduate. Rich was a banker for 25 years before coming to Kewanna where he farmed and owned and operated RMAR Lawn Care Service since 1986.
He was a former member F and AM Masonic Lodge in Russellville and he was also a former board member of the Kewanna Public Library. Rich enjoyed gardening and reading. He also enjoyed attending soup dinners at Kewanna United Methodist Church and visiting with friends each morning at the coffee shop.
Survivors include his wife: Marilyn J. Hoff, Kewanna; daughters: Kim K. (Michael) Herrell, Warren; and Rhonda L. Hoff, Rochester; grandchildren: William R. Lockhart II; Justin B. Lockhart; Brittany Herrell; Aaron Herrell; and Michael Crozier; great-grandchildren: Legacy L. Lockhart; Selena Herrell; Liam L. Lockhart; and Nashton Herrell. He is also survived by brothers: Rodney L. (Linda) Hoff, Fletchers Lake; and Kenneth Hoff, Rochester; and a sister: Elaine K. (Jerry) Brown, Lucerne. He was also preceded in death by infant daugter: Renee Lynette Hoff.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
