The the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, North SR 13, Pierceton. Dakota B. Fisher, Huntington Street, North Webster, and David M. Hall, 55, CR 550E, Syracuse. Fisher lost control of his vehicle causing him to travel left of center and hit Hall’s vehicle. Damage estimated up to $25,000.
6:49 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Randy G. Alderson, 55, CR 323, Moulton, Ala. Alderson backed his vehicle into a parks department light pole causing the pole to fall and the light casing to shatter. Damage estimated up to $2,800.
10:13 a.m., Wednesday July 27, Center Street, Warsaw. Ashley N. Bender, 32, Ramar Drive, Warsaw, and Lei Nmi Wang, 40, Springfield Drive, Warsaw. Bender’s vehicle rear-ended Wang’s as Wang was stopped for a red light. Damage estimated up to $10,000.
11:44 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, Center Street, Warsaw. Stuart D. Woodward, 66, Muirfield Road, Winona Lake and Karin A. McGrath, 52, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Woodward failed to see McGrath’s vehicle as he proceeded to make a left turn, causing Woodward’s vehicle to collide with McGrath’s. Damage estimated up to $5,000.
12:12 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, Detroit Street, Warsaw. Betty M. McIntire, McDonald Street, Elkhart, and Liliana H. Temozihui, 18, North 114, Warsaw. McIntire made a left turn in front of Temozihui when Temozihui had the right of way, causing McIntire to collide with Temozihui. Damage estimated up to $25,000.
