Cerulean A No-Show At Alcohol Meeting, Despite Violation
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Despite incurring a violation, Cerulean restaurant, Winona Lake, was a no-show during the regular meeting of the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission, held Thursday, Aug. 4.
Excise Officer April Tackett did not state the nature of the violation, but said she would either visit Cerulean personally or send them a letter, reminding them of the violation. The hearing, which was for a permit renewal, has been continued until next month.
Tackett noted that representatives from Cerulean will have four months to appear before the board. If they do not come by the fourth meeting, the board will make a decision without them. This, she said, applies to any situation, not just a violation.
Renewals were granted to McClure Oil, Syracuse; Circle K, Syracuse; and Grill-N-Grate, North Webster. There were no questions or discussions pertaining to these renewals.
