Kitty Ann Garnand, 64, former Plymouth resident, passed away on Aug. 9, 2016, in her home.

Kitty was born on March 28, 1952, in Plymouth to Kenneth B. and Hilda M. (Lamborn) Bowman. She graduated from Plymouth High School.

Beloved mother of daughter, Kelly Lynn Sheets, and son, Matt Todd Garnand. Her unconditional love, support and strength have been an example of compassion and a true testament to all those who knew her. Even as the end drew near, her thoughts were always with those she loved first and foremost.

Kitty was a former member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth, and involved in Home Economics Clubs.

Kitty is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Kelly (Lee) Sheets; and son and daughter-in-law: Matt (Brooke Shepherd) Garnand; mother: Hilda Bowman, Plymouth; and brothers: Kent (Judy) Bowman, Plymouth; and Hal (Karen) Bowman, Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Land officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
