INDIANAPOLIS — Visit Indiana has unrolled a new app all about the state’s Bicentennial Torch Relay.

The app, available for Apple and Android, provides users with the latest information pertaining to the torch and the relay, which will make its way through Indiana September through October.

The app contains up-to-date information about the torch, the relay route and the individual torchbearers. Information is arranged by county, so area residents can see how the torch will travel through their area. It also contains information about each county’s torchbearers.

Another section of the app allows residents to see when their respective counties’ torch relay celebrations are taking place. Users can also access information about the torch itself and read about its high-tech features. Another section lets them shop for Torch Relay merchandise.
