Cromwell Woman Arrested For Possessing, Dealing Meth
WARSAW — Christal Lynn Campos, 36, 9788 East Excaliber Place, Cromwell, was arrested for dealing in methamphetamine, a level 4 felony and possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony.
Officers with the Allen County Drug Task Force and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department witnessed Campos selling 1/8 ounce of methamphetamine in exchange for $300. After the exchange, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Campos and a search warrant for her residence.
On June 21, officers served the search warrant. Inside the residence they found a blue, plastic container that contained numerous plastic bags with white residue, two plastic bags that contained a crystal-like substance, two plastic straw with a white residue, digital scales with a white residue, a black leather container that contained a crystal-like substance, a metal canister that contained a plant material and a wallet containing the ID card of Campos.
Officers field tested the crystal-like substances and they tested positive for methamphetamine and had a combined weight of 2.7 grams.
Campos was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 12 with a $15,250 cash bond.
