Bicentennial Committee Announces New Concert Artist, Venue
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The bicentennial committee has been working hard to secure another artist for Saturday’s free concert.
On Wednesday, Sept. 28, it was announced that Jason Michael Carroll’s father passed away. Carroll was the artist originally scheduled to perform. In order to mourn the passing of his father, Carroll was no longer able to perform. The bicentennial committee put out an announcement on its Facebook page.
The bicentennial committee is working diligently to find an available artist for the scheduled performance this Saturday. the committee ask that you join it in keeping Carroll and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday, Sept. 29, the committee announced that it had found a new artist to perform in Carroll’s place. Ty Herndon will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Lakeview Middle School auditorium. The concert was originally set to take place at the fairgrounds, but due to grandstand conditions has been moved to the auditorium. Doors will open for the concert at 6 p.m.
The concert will also include performances by Warsaw’s own Janice Anne and Miss Kitty’s Revenge. Herndon is a country music artist with 17 singles that have appeared on the Billboard Hot Country Song chart.
