Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, South Country Club Road and East Winona Beach Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Brenda M. Clark, 56, East Tulip Tree Drive, Warsaw. Clark struck a deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

7:09 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, East CR 1400N, east of North CR 550E, Syracuse. Driver: Chloee-Alexandra B. Little, 16, 4th Street, New Paris. Little struck a deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Elkhart

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:08 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, CR 13 and CR 40, east of Wakarusa. Drivers: Juan A. Juarez, 27, South Bend, and Scott E. Clark, 48, Goshen. Juarez complained of leg pain. A passenger in Juarez’s vehicle, Paul Conrad Leal, 35, Cromwell, complained of pain to the lower leg. Juarez fell asleep while driving, disregarded a stop sign and struck Clark’s vehicle. Juarez’s vehicle then overturned and caught fire. Juarez’s vehicle was a total loss. Clark’s vehicle sustained damage to a trailer he was hauling and the back of the truck.
