Two Women Arrested For Dealing Meth With Child In Car
WARSAW — Two women have been arrested after officers witnessed them dealing meth, once with a child in the car.
Flor Lucero Triana, 20, 308 N. Indiana Ave., Goshen, was arrested for dealing methamphetamine over 10 grams and attempting to commit a felony.
Guadalupe Garcia, 22, 135 West Garfield Ave., Elkhart, was booked for dealing methamphetamine over 10 grams, neglect of a dependent and attempting to commit a felony.
On Dec. 4, officers with the Warsaw Police Department witnessed Garcia sell 28 grams of methamphetamine in exchange for $1,000. The transaction occurred inside the buyers car in the Walmart parking lot.
On Dec. 7, officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Steak ‘n Shake parking lot. Triana was driving, Garcia was a passenger and there was a small child in the backseat.
Garcia admitted that she was coming to Warsaw to collect $4,000 so she could order more methamphetamine. Garcia told officers since December, she had delivered 16 ounces of methamphetamine to Warsaw.
Triana had driven Garcia to Warsaw knowing Garcia was collecting money from dealing methamphetamine. Triana admitted to driving Garcia in the past, knowing she was selling methamphetamine and collecting drug debts.
Both women were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 8 with $25,250 surety and cash bonds.
