LAKEVILLE – Triton’s junior varsity run in the Bi-County didn’t make it past Wednesday, losing to Bremen 33-20 in the boys basketball side of the annual tournament.

Triton held the Lions to just two points in the first quarter, but were shut out 9-0 in the second quarter to trail 11-6. The Trojans never recovered. Bremen led 23-13 after three and put the Trojans away with a 10-7 fourth quarter.

Scoring statistics were not immediately issued from the contest.

Triton’s varsity squad is in the semi-finals after its win at Argos Tuesday night, and will face Bremen Friday night. The Lady Trojans lost to Argos Tuesday night and will play Culver in the consolation round Thursday night. Both upcoming games will be at LaVille. Should Triton’s boys win Friday night, it will play in the Bi-County championship Saturday night at approximately 8 p.m.
