Miss Marlise Shaffer led a special Veterans Day program on Nov. 9 at Warsaw Christian School that honored veterans from the United States military.

Eighteen Veterans were present as each class honored them by reciting poetry or narration, singing patriotic songs, and acknowledging past and present veterans for their service and sacrifice for our country’s freedom.

More than 150 people attended the program, which highlighted photos of friends and relatives who had served in various military branches from World War II to the present.
