Setting Up & Accessing an E-mail
11 a.m. – noon Thursday, March 2, and Monday, March 13.

Learn how to setup and access your e-mail and create an account recovery using your cell phone or another e-mail account. You’ll also learn how to navigate your email by creating folders and saving messages. There is an opportunity to discover even more skills if you want a comprehensive e-mail tutorial with a quiz to test your knowledge. We’ll also help with accessing e-mail calendars, adding events to alert you on specific dates, and attaching documents.

My Next Move: Finding Your Career Path
11 a.m. – noon Tuesday, March 7, and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.

This workshop pinpoints your interests and what field of work best matches those interests. It will also delve into possible positions and opportunities available and check on forecasted pay grades. Find out what options are available in the career you want to pursue whether you currently have a job or not. Receive a 25 percent discount to the Retail Store for participating in this workshop and find something for your next interview!

Open Mock Interviews
1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 14

The Warsaw Career Center will be hosting Open Mock Interviews for anyone who would like to improve their interview skills. If you’re nervous about interviewing, or struggling to land a job because of the interview phase, these sessions will help prepare you. Learn the types of questions that could be asked, from the basics to personal questions. Find out how to highlight your skills in the conversation. We’ll review things like how to not appear nervous or unprepared, how to address difficult questions, and how personal appearance makes a big difference in an interview. Please drop by between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to practice your interview skills. You’ll receive a 25 percent discount to the Retail Store for participating so you can find something for your next interview!

Hiring Event
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15

KGP Logistics will be at the Warsaw Career Center for a Hiring Event on Wednesday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. KGP will be looking for several individuals to hire on the spot! Candidates should come dressed in business casual attire and ready to interview with resume in hand. We can print, edit, update, or build a new resume for job seekers who stop by in advance of this event. We can also offer one-on-one mock interviews to help you prepare.

Getting to Know the Excel Interface
1-2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, and 11 a.m. – noon Tuesday, March 28.

Learn how to access Microsoft Excel, locate the ribbon and learn it’s tools and functions. This workshop series is designed to get people comfortable with the look and physical features of Microsoft Office’s most powerful tool. For those who would like more extensive assistance, we can customize this workshop to various skill levels and provide a quiz to test their knowledge.
