MISHAWAKA – Several area high school basketball standouts have been chosen to take part in the McDonald’s Michiana All-Star games.
The sixth annual boys and girls games will be played on March 28 in the Wiekamp Center on the Bethel College campus.
The rosters for the pair of contests, which will have the girls game at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at around 7:15, were announced Wednesday.
Chosen to take part in the boys game are Kyle Mangas of Warsaw, along with Vinny Miranda and Luke Zurcher of NorthWood.
The selections for the girls game include Dayton Groninger and Madi Graham of Warsaw, Anne Secrest of Tippecanoe Valley and the NorthWood duo of Taitlyn Trenshaw and Savannah Feenstra.
Tickets, which will be available at the door, are $5 for adults and $2 for students. Children ages 12 and under will be admitted for free.
Players, as in years past, will visit children in the Memorial Children’s Hospital pediatric intensive care unit a day earlier. They will also tour Ronald McDonald House’s new facility at Memorial.
