Triton Baseball: Trojans Shutdown Redskins
KNOX — The Triton baseball team caught fire Tuesday night in a 19-0 beat down of Knox.
The Trojans had 14 hits, while holding the Redskins to just three. Triton scored eight in the first inning, 10 in the third and one more in the fifth during its final at-bat.
Nate Flenar led Triton with four hits, going 4-4 on the day with a walk. Flenar also had two RBIs and two runs scored. Zac Pitney had an impressive five RBIs while Max Slusser and Dylan Hensley each added three. Adam Stevens, Conner Pitney, Lucas Newman and Ty Ferry (two) all had RBIs as well.
Triton (8-2) will play a double header at North Judson-San Pierre this Saturday.
