Farmers And Artisans Market Kicks Off Summer Season
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Farmers And Artisans Market has commenced for the summer season, holding its opening day today, May 6.
The County Farmers Market was originally held at the Kosciusko Fairgrounds before being moved to the downtown area in 2012. Formerly just called the Kosciusko County Farmers Market, this year the market has changed its name to include all of the artisans who participate in the event.
The market is held on Center Street between Buffalo and Lake Streets and is open 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Saturday from May until October. Be sure to check it out for locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, food products and locally produced craft items.
The market is also accepting new vendors and entertainers for this season. Visit the FaceBook Page for more information and to see what’s happening at the market, or call Cindy at (574) 527-1597.
